What we do

Combining rigorous field science with modern geospatial tools to deliver actionable ecological intelligence.

01

Botanical Surveys & Rare Plant Monitoring

Comprehensive floristic inventories, rare species assessment, and long-term monitoring programs using best-practice federal protocols across diverse Southern Appalachian habitats.

02

Fire Ecology & Prescribed Fire Planning

Evidence-based fire management recommendations grounded in Appalachian fire ecology research, NWCG-certified field experience, and post-fire vegetation monitoring.

03

GIS & Remote Sensing Analysis

Custom geospatial products using Google Earth Engine, NASA datasets, and advanced remote sensing to support land management decisions at landscape scale.

04

Ecological Data Analysis & Reporting

Statistical analysis — including Bayesian hierarchical models and GLMMs — translated into clear, publication-quality reports for agency, nonprofit, and research clients.

05

Natural Areas Stewardship

Strategic stewardship planning for state natural areas and conservation lands, integrating vegetation monitoring, disturbance ecology, and long-term management objectives.

06

Wildlife & Habitat Assessment

Habitat suitability analysis, wildlife monitoring design, and species-specific assessments drawing on field experience across Georgia DNR rare species and Appalachian ecosystems.
